For 100 years, Junior Achievement (JA) has been preparing young people for entrepreneurship and the world of work. Since the early 1990’s, JA Ghana has reached and inspired over 50,000 Ghanaians in high schools with practical entrepreneurship training and workforce employability skills.
JA Ghana is commemorating 100 years of JA’s impact on youth economic development with the launch of the JA Ghana Alumni Network. The JA Ghana Alumni network will offer opportunities for innovators, entrepreneurs, makers, and managers, who were influenced by JA in school, to share with the world stories of how they are creating change in their communities and the world.
The launch will take place during JA Ghana’s annual flagship event, the 2019 Company of the Year Competition on Saturday October 12, 2019 at the SB Incubator, Silver Star Tower – Airport, Accra at 12:30pm.
According to JA Ghana Alumni and honoree of the FERD’s List Award at the just ended JA Global Alumni Conference in Vienna, Emmanuel Nyame,
“The network will open doors for alumni to gather, support and create impact in their day to day activities. We are excited about giving back not just to uplift others, but to strengthen our union”.
Were you a part of the Junior Achievement club in your high school or participated in other JA events and programs? Join the JA Ghana Alumni Network to be part of a Global community of like-minded people, connect and exchange ideas, attend alumni events globally and other leadership opportunities.
