Farewell and Gratitude: Honouring the Leadership of Abeiku Greene

At JA Ghana, leadership is more than a role, it’s about vision, commitment, and the ability to inspire young people to dream bigger and achieve more. This month, we bid a heartfelt farewell to our Executive Director, Abeiku Greene, who concludes his tenure after years of dedicated service to our mission.

During his time with JA Ghana, Abeiku played a pivotal role in advancing our programmes and deepening our impact across the country. Under his leadership, we expanded partnerships, delivered transformative experiences to thousands of young people, and continued to champion our pillars of entrepreneurship, financial literacy, work readiness, and STEM & sustainability. His guidance helped position JA Ghana as a trusted leader in youth development, both locally and within the JA Africa & Alumni network.

Colleagues, Alumni and partners will remember him not only for his strategic vision, but also for his unwavering belief in the potential of young people. His ability to connect with stakeholders, inspire teams, and drive results has left a lasting imprint on the organisation.

As we say goodbye, we also look ahead with anticipation. JA Ghana is delighted to welcome Edem Amesu-Addor, who will officially assume the role of Executive Director in September 2025. With fresh perspectives and a commitment to building on the strong foundation laid, we are confident this transition marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in our journey.

To Abeiku, we say thank you. Your leadership has shaped lives, strengthened our mission, and set JA Ghana on a path of continued growth. Your legacy will be felt in every young person who dares to dream and act boldly because of the opportunities JA Ghana provides.

As we move forward, we remain committed to equipping Ghana’s youth with the skills, values, and vision to succeed. The best is yet to come.
