JA Ghana Launches Be Internet Awesome Program to Promote Digital Safety and Citizenship

Junior Achievement Ghana is excited to announce the implementation of the Be Internet Awesome program this year, a global digital citizenship and online safety initiative designed to equip children with the knowledge and skills to use the internet safely, responsibly, and confidently.

The program will engage teachers, students, and parents, providing age-appropriate training on key digital citizenship principles such as online safety, responsible sharing, digital security, kindness, and speaking up when something feels wrong online.

As children across Ghana increasingly engage with digital tools for learning and communication, Be Internet Awesome supports our shared responsibility to prepare them not just to use technology, but to use it wisely and ethically. This initiative aligns with JA Ghana’s mission of empowering young people with life skills that prepare them for the future of work and responsible citizenship.
