OUR TOP LEARNING EXPERIENCES

JA Ghana invests in young people at different stages of their lives and academic careers. At the primary school level, a focus on financial literacy will enable students to understand key elements of financial wealth. We expand young peoples’ abilities to manage their personal finances smartly and effectively. Starting as young as age seven, our programs introduce young children to essential concepts like earning, saving, spending and banking.

At the high school and university levels, JA Ghana emphasizes entrepreneurship learning. We give students the knowledge and skills to start and manage their own businesses and to apply entrepreneurial thinking to solve everyday problems. JA’s entrepreneurship programs reach students in and out of the classroom, giving them the opportunities to start and run businesses during the course of the academic year and to become familiar with the realities of being business owners.

Through programs in workforce readiness, students are equipped to be more effective and profitable in the workforce by giving them first-hand insight into the world of work and developing their soft skills to obtain, thrive in and keep a job or business. They learn how to create CVs, interview for jobs, establish digital identities, and behave in the workplace. They are also taught skills such as personal presentation and applying soft skills to becoming proactive problem-solvers who create or add value for their employers.
