At JA Ghana, we believe that real-world learning experiences don’t just prepare young people for the future, they shape them into confident, globally-minded changemakers.
That’s why we’re proud to partner with Sailing Stone to deliver the 2025 edition of the Youth Immersion Project, a powerful two-week initiative that connected young people from the African diaspora with Ghanaian innovation and culture.
This year’s programme, held in June 2025, brought together six outstanding young participants, primarily Francophone youth from across the diaspora and Europe, for a unique blend of cultural immersion and professional development.
Each intern was matched with one of six well-known Ghanaian enterprises, offering a front-row seat to the energy, creativity, and resilience that fuels Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.

These weren’t just office placements. Interns were immersed in real, meaningful work, from content creation at MX24 TV, to sustainability-focused projects at Mckingtorch Africa, to shadowing legal professionals at Koranteng & Koranteng Legal Advisors. They built soft skills, such as time management and collaboration, while contributing fresh insights and energy to their host companies.
The host organisations also including Broll Ghana Limited, Grow for Me, and EchoHouse Ghana Limited, who opened their doors and minds to this exchange. In return, they received new perspectives, creative input, and a dose of global energy that sparked mutual growth.

But this project was about more than just skills. It was about connection, between cultures, languages, and shared aspirations. Interns didn’t just learn about Ghana, they lived it. From local foods to weekend excursions, workshops to after-hours conversations, they experienced Ghanaian life in its full, vibrant colour.
This is how we inspire purpose. This is how we prepare youth to lead with confidence. And this is how we succeed, together.
The Youth Immersion Project is just one of many programmes at JA Ghana designed to connect young people with opportunities, wherever they are in the world.
